Rangsey Chum Vice President of Asianballers

2021 asianballers championship johnston, ri

6/23/21 by Bo Noung On June 20, 2021 asianballers.net wanted to showcase our Asianballers Basketball Organization by hosting a pro style nba game. The event was at first thought to be a challenge from the Asianballers Atlanta team against the Asianballers New England team. But this event turned out to be much more! Bo Noung (founder of Asianballers) has always dreamed that one day there would be an asian professional league in the United States. Mostly everyone has told him that this is impossible. But Bo is a dreamer......
Bo has come up with ideas to how he could make this dream closer to reality. After talking with countless asian basketball leaders around the country, not one was open to the idea. They said it was too expensive, and too difficult to accomplish. He doubted that this reality could actually happen. He started the Asianballers Basketball Organization to develop his players and build a team that could compete against the top asianballer teams in the country. At age 43 he is still the top player for his organization, he knew that this could not be the way to compete for a championship at major tournaments against the top tier teams. So he started recruiting and teamed with a family friend Rangsey Chum. Rangsey is now the Vice President of Asianballers. With the help from Rangsey, Bo & Asianballers have a new energy and managed to find talent. Bo & Rangsey's goal also is to help the Cambodia Basketball develop their skills for the future. That's when they started a pro team in the Cambodia Basketball League (CBL) in Cambodia. In 2019 they had their first season. This gave Bo the idea of a pro league in the United States could become a reality.
So in December 2020 Bo decided to leave Atlanta and move to the New England area. Bo started a team in New England while Rangsey was training and developing the Asianballers program in Atlanta. Then they said let's have Atlanta go against New England to give the program a boost and exposure to world! The Asianballers Championship was created..... It would be the first pro style format game in the history of asian basketball! There were many doubters and obstacles, but the event ran smoothly and was live on Cambodia Basketball Facebook. Because of this event, Asianballers will have a team starting in California and Minnesota. The dream is just in the beginning phase, but maybe, just maybe this could become reality. The new asian pro league would be called the ABA (Asian Basketball Association). Contact Bo Noung at 404.430.1598 if you would like to be part of this ground breaking league in the United States. We at asianballers.net has always been determined to take asian basketball to the next level!! We appreciate all those who have supported our organization throughout the years! Dreams never die! Go get them asianballers!!
